Philippe Dartois joined the Major Products team over 16 years ago and now serves as Plant Engineer / Food Safety Manager at Major Product’s Las Vegas facility. In his current role, Philippe oversees the manufacturing process in Las Vegas and serves as a “Jack of all trades,” ensuring that all food safety protocols are met and that the products produced at the facility are high quality. He also works with regulatory agencies and handles any audits, as well as preventative maintenance.
Before coming to Major Products, Philippe was educated in France with a focus on facility engineering. After completing his education, he traveled abroad as a certified power plant operating engineer and participated in a wide variety of continuing education programs in engineering as well. In addition to continuing to develop his engineering expertise, Philippe earned his Food Safety Manager certification in 2002, and being multilingual and working in many different countries, he brings unique skills and knowledge to the Major Products team. Philippe’s favorite part of working for Major Products? The fact that the business is family-owned and operated. He was hired by the company’s founder and has continued on with the next generation: Dan and Valerie. Unlike many large companies, since Major Products is a tight-knit group, team members can communicate easily, hard work doesn’t go unnoticed, and no one gets lost in the shuffle.
