Sausage Country Gravy

Biscuits in sausage gravy sauce
Serves 1 gallon


  • 2 Lbs. Sausage, Breakfast
  • 1 Gallon Water
  • 1 Each 83281 Superb Major Country Gravy w/Added Pepper Mix, No MSG 10073292832816


  1. In a pot or large sauce pan over medium high heat add sausage
  2. Using a spatula or wooden spoon break sausage up to cook and brown pieces in desired size
  3. Drain most of the rendered fat, keep desired amount for flavor and texture
  4. Add water to pot and bring to a warm temperature 110-150°F
  5. Add Major Products Country gravy mix to the hot not boiling water and whisk to incorporate
  6. Continue whisking until gravy thickens and just starts to boil
  7. Remove from heat and serve immediately or hold hot for up to 4 hours
