Tomato Bacon Bisque
Serves 1 gallon


  • 6 oz. Bacon, Chopped
  • 2 Medium Onion, Yellow, Julienne 1/4"
  • 2 Cloves Garlic, Chopped
  • 1 #10 can Whole Tomatoes, with Juice
  • 3 TBSP 23306 Elite Major Chicken Stock Base, No MSG Added 10073292233064
  • 2 TBSP 23516 Elite Major Bacon Stock Base, No MSG Added 10073292235167
  • 1 Quart Water
  • 2 TBSP Red Pepper Flakes
  • 2 oz. Basil Leaves, Fresh, Julienne Thin


  1. In a pot/large sauce pan over medium high heat add bacon and cook until browned
  2. Add onions and garlic, Saute until onions are softened
  3. Combine water and Major Products Chicken and Bacon Base in a bowl or measuring cup to create a stock
  4. Add tomatoes and stock mix, red pepper flakes and basil
  5. Cover pot/pan and simmer for 30 minutes just below a boil
  6. Remove lid and blend all ingredients with a Bermixer/ hand wand until smooth
  7. Hold soup hot for 4 hours or remove from heat and chill, hold refrigerated up to 3 days
